Never OnceNever once did I think that I'd be like those other girls
That I'd want to get married and have a baby with curls
And though I want it so much, who wants to stand there?
Who wants to hold me and run their hands through my hair?

I never thought I'd want to actually get married some day
That I'd want to stand up front and throw back a bouquet
But I shall wait for that day, to stand up there with my man
I'll wait to have a house, a family, maybe one of those vans

In the darkness, he'll take me in his arms and we'll dance
I do want all of it, so someday I will take that chance
But for right now I will wait for someone that really cares
You've Changed...People – they lie and cheat and change and hurt
All so many do is treat others like a pile of dirt
They can be friends one day and change the next
Looking only for money, drugs or even just sex

That seems to be the way of the world now
Something that has become acceptable to allow
But it is a sad truth that many will not admit
Through this time of hatred, it seems so few make it

We used to be so very close, you and I were
But I'm afraid that you've begun to change good sir
I no longer recognize the person you have become
What is left of who you were? Fore I see not a crumb…

The hurt you cause us, I know you cannot see

Even Angels Need A Helping HandEvery human that will walk this earth
Has a purpose and has a worth
From birth to grave, from life to death
Until they breathe their very last breath
Their path is laid out before them

Some are destined to help others
To act as parents, sisters and brothers
To bring light into a vast sea of darkness
Working to the bone and never less

Others might be tasked to sit on the sidelines
Waiting and watching for tell-tale signs
Helping without face-to-face interaction
Discerning what help to give from other's actions

Then there are the Angels, the light givers
Their love all-encompassing like a grand river
It is their nature to help a
Bullying: Another Life is StolenMaking others feel worthless is what you do best
Then you go and claim it was all a joke, a mere jest
But your words mean more than you comprehend
Your words can lose somebody their dearest friend

Your jokes have taken another young life away
Now the day is bleak and a cruel shade of grey
Know that to obtain your one little power trip
Your victim will feel as if they are being whipped

So the next time you feel the urge to tease or play
Be sure to always remember what happened this day
Your torment stole a family member and friend
And for the family, there will seem to be no end

Stop the bullying before another young life is stolen
No Clearer Than MudThere is so much pain, so much hurt
Too many of the good are treated like dirt
I try and try to help, to take some pain away
So many people will never see the new day

Humans are a terror to their own race
We spread our diseases all over the place
We kill our children, rape our women
And the guilty are punished only now and then

When was it that people were ashamed of their own kind?
When did we get to be so ignorant and blind?
To kill and rape and destroy our own blood
Is to say that the human race is no purer than mud

Those strong of heart and caring souls
To help those close begins to take its toll

Too many of you were innocent to this place

An angel with a golden heart
Her pain impossible to tell apart
Wrists drip with crimson blood

Wanting nothing but to fly
Invisible wings eager to break free
Her heart screams like a banshee

But her thoughts linger on her family
Her friends and family who she might never again see
They love her more than she might ever comprehend
Love that will forever and for always transcend

The blade drops and tears begin to fall
The sadness begins to wash away, sadness
The Ghost Of Words.Everyone knows it, that blank page, laid bare on the ground,
The Ghost of Words, it constantly follows me around.
That blank page, whenever you come to write, is waiting,
It always seems happy to be filled, and yet continues resisting.
 
That blank page, I see it everywhere, a bare wall, an empty frame,
It's waiting for me to fill it, it hounds me, and it puts me to shame.
There is a constant fear, that one day I will not have the words to fill it,
I'm not scared of much, but the Ghost of Words has deemed me unfit.
 
One day, I will no longer be able to satisfy this Ghost's hunger,
Will it finally stop hounding me then though, I wonder?
This Ghost of Words, breathing down my neck with my every step,
It awaits to be filled, hounding me and making me savour each breath.
Is it my turn yet?I know the thought of seeing you some day
Might be, to some, a bit too cliché
But I know that when I finally find you
You're the only one I'll ever look to

One day, maybe soon, you'll take my hand
And take me on a long walk in the sand
And then we'll go dancing in the rain
Then you'll take me and kiss away my pain

You'll ensure that I have nothing to fear
I will be known to you as honey or dear
Someday, our paths shall run together
With you, there is nothing I cannot weather

They say everybody falls in love someday.
Is it my turn yet?
Money can't buy happiness."Money can't buy happiness"
 
This is the old tale we all know so well,
The proof lies here in the tale I am about to tell.
There was once a beautiful, smart and rich woman,
She was powerful and seemingly had everything.
 
Yet, although she had all this, she was miserable,
It's a sad truth, but then again, it's a sad tale.
She lost someone, it hurt her badly, it made her sad,
She'll be fine, but it hurts... She could be going mad.
 
But no, it was normal to hurt after such a loss,
There was a man to look after her, whatever the cost.
She was a proud, beautiful, smart and rich woman,
She was powerful and seemingly had everything.
 
But on the inside, her heart was hurting,
The reason why this tale is so saddening.
She was rich, she was powerful, she had everything,
Yet she was about to break, just like anyone or anything.
Why Do You Do This?Why do you do all of this
You stain your wrists
You cry all the damn time
You slip when you try to climb

You're in all this pain
Putting that blade to a vein
You dig it in, but not too deep
For now, that price is too steep

But will the day eventually come
A day when you are so very numb
That the price isn't too high
And you give up the will to try

God forbid that day should arrive
I want you to be happy and alive
Yet I freak out when you aren't there
Don't make me feel loss and despair

Uso Ai - Ch. 9Chapter Nine
  Akio and Ukiema made their way back to the area where they'd left everyone. They stepped into the clearing but Akio froze. Cieco was lying motionless on the ground. Tipo, Neve, and Kayne were gone. Akio forced his body to change back to his human shape and he rushed to his mother's side. "Mom, wake up, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly.
    "Son, my beautiful angel, it was Kayne. He's working for them. He took Neve and the other boy. Please, you have to get them back. Please," She pleaded and took a shaky breath. She looked up at the sky and smiled. "I can see her…" She breathed. "She's so beautiful." Cieco whispered.
Uso Ai - Ch. 8Chapter Eight
   Akio, Keiri, Cieco, Neve, Kayne, Tipo, and Ukiema all rested on the ground four hours after they'd escaped from the facility. Ukiema breathed steadily after resting in the shade, he leaned heavily against a tree. He stood up and checked Tipo's wounds. Neve held her mother as the old woman slept. Keiri sat on the outskirts of the group, hugging her knees sadly. Akio looked over at her and stood up, walked to her side, and knelt down beside her. "Is something bothering you?" He asked.
    "I'm pathetic…" She whispered.
    "How?" Akio was confused.
    "I couldn't keep from forgetting you. I couldn't feel anything.
Uso Ai - Ch. 7Chapter Seven
     Tipo snarled furiously and rushed at Keiri. He grabbed her by the straps of her bra and lifted her off the ground. "This is your fault! Why the hell didn't you stop him?! Why?!" He yelled at her. Keiri's eyes were still a dull, lifeless shade of their original violet color. Her skin was still cold and paler than usual. Tipo's eyes were narrowed with fury and his face was flushed.
     "Stop it Tipo!" Akio yelled angrily.
     "Back off pretty boy!" Tipo growled and slammed Keiri into the wall. "Why didn't you stop him?!"

Uso Ai - Ch. 6Chapter Six
    Ukiema lay in Tipo's lap and he whined sadly. Tipo gently rubbed the young diclonious's head to reassure him. A knock suddenly came at the front door. Ukiema jumped down from Tipo's lap and pulled the knob on the door, opening it. Ukiema looked up and let out a brief, sharp yip right before a net was thrown over him, yanked tight, and he was dragged out of the house. Tipo was instantly on his feet and he yelled for Akio and Keiri.
    Ukiema yipped and growled furiously at the men dragging him as he clawed at the net furiously.
    "Don't worry pup, we're going to get our freaky little friends too. Their just as interest

Yeah, I think I like doing this. It gives it more...I dunno. I just like this more than just posting poetry as a lit piece. I might do more of these, I might now. All depends on the piece.

Also, about the poem itself...yeah, don't really have anything to say.

When the time comes you'll give it all away :D and so it should be. When you fall in love there is no defence not even fear can stop a heart in love.... I'd do my poetry like that if I had the talent ;) or the time :D

Believe it or not, it only takes about ten to twnety minutes, depending on what you want. I don't draw so I use stock. I get what I want, paste it in Paint, invert the colors, and paste on the words. It's really quite simple.

And thank you for your words. Hopefully someday I'll know the beauty of love. But that day, sadly, is not today.

I think you do know love but it is not the love of passion. But it is the love you give through communication, by taking the time to talk :D

The love of a friend is something I knew very well. It is easy to love without expecting to be loved in return. If you have the friend kind of love, it is easier to return. Needless to say, I have many friends that I love.
