You walk through the rain
To hide your tears

You walk amid the shadows
To hide the dark circles 'neath your eyes

Long sleeves and make-up
To hide the bruises and cuts

A happy appearance
To keep away the demons

You can hide everything that's hurt you
And still be tortured by the feelings they cause
Still lose hope over the smallest things
Still hurt over the past

But there are angels
They'll stand beside you
Invisible
But always there

If you give up now
Lose all your hope
Just look to your angels
Look for their help

Your angels are your friends
Family
Teachers
or even strangers

Be it a lecture
A poem
A novel
Or a single word

They'll help you
Save you
Stand with you
Or back you up

So refuse to give up
Deny backing down

Forbid the Devil from winning
