Literature Text

Bombs at every corner
Graveyards filled with mourners
Death on every doorstep
People afraid of any little misstep

Worry about foreign danger
Afraid of any stranger
But oblivious to domestic wars
As lives are taken in scores

Peace is but a pipedream
As monsters work up their schemes
People are but things to kill
Bodies to be thrown downhill

At the door stands death
What has taken them – not beer nor meth
They were taken at home, in their city
To be unable to stop the loss is but a pity
It seems I've gotten into a poetry mood again, with the tragedy of the Boston Bombing...
